CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WVIR) - Hi! Showers starting in the valley first around 11 AM/12 PM. Scattered showers expected throughout the early afternoon. A second line is expected to develop around 5/6 PM and pass west to east. This line brings a higher chance for storms and heavier rainfall. The western part of the viewing area is under marginal risk for severe weather with the highest concern being damaging wind gusts. After showers fade (around 10 PM), areas of fog are expected to be left behind and last until tomorrow morning. Most areas will only receive less than 0.1″, some areas receive none and few areas could receive more if a storm develops.
