Breezy, Dry and Much Cooler Weekend
CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WVIR) - Some additional scattered showers tonight into early Friday morning with areas of fog and still mild temperatures. Turning much cooler as we move into the weekend.

An approaching cold front will cross our area overnight and then push farther east Friday. Some additional showers tonight into Friday morning. Overall rain amounts, light - under a quarter inch for most locations. Clouds giving way to sunshine Friday with afternoon highs in the upper 60s to low 70s. More clouds and rain farther to our east Friday toward Richmond and Hampton Roads. A secondary cold front Friday evening could trigger isolated showers, but this will kick up the wind and usher in cooler air for the weekend.
