Five Virginia lottery players pull million-dollar tickets

MADISON COUNTY, Va. (WVIR) - The Virginia Lottery announced that a ticket bought in Madison is one of five $1-million winners in the New Year’s Millionaire Raffle drawing.

The ticket was bought at the Madison Plaza Food Lion off Route 29.

The other four big winners were purchased in Bealeton, Burke, Alexandria and Hopewell.

There were seven additional $100,000 winners. The winners have 180 days to claim their prizes or forfeit them.
