UVA recognized for outstanding Pharmacy

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WVIR) - UVA Health is celebrating an award for excellent patient care.

UVA Health has earned the 2024 High Value Pharmacy award from Premier Inc.

Premier is a health care company that represents more than 4,000 hospitals and health systems.

This award recognizes their pharmacy teams that serve at 23 locations across central and northern Virginia.

“This award is a recognition to every front line team member of the outstanding services that they provide every day. This recognizes the innovative best practice services of our pharmacy team,” said UVA Health Chief Pharmacy Officer, Danielle Griggs.

UVA Health says this shows how its pharmacy team is working to help provide quality care across Virginia.
