CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WVIR) - Patient care for those with Parkinson’s disease is changing at UVA Health.
The hospital is opening a new comprehensive Parkinson’s clinic. Members in the clinic will include physical therapists, nutritionists, neuro-psychologists, and nurses.
UVA Health says this allows for more lines of communication and access.
The clinic is currently in its pilot phase, but UVA Health is hopeful to expand the program over the summer.
