UVA program helping PVCC students find jobs

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WVIR) - A partnership between UVA Health and Piedmont Virginia Community College is helping people build careers while making money.

The Earn While You Learn program hires people to work in health care with full-time benefits and salary while covering educational expenses.

The short-term training for entry-level positions includes nurses, pharmacy technicians, EMTs, and more.

The program also acts as a pipeline to inspire future generations to go into the health care field.
