UVA Health to receive Clinical Healthy Work Environment Award

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WVIR) - UVA Children’s and Women’s Services are being recognized for their commitment to creating a healthy work environment.

The international recognition comes from the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.

According to UVA Health officials, the recognition stems from implementing what they call “the wisdom and well being model,” along with communication, culture, and team-building strategies in their daily routines.

UVA Health representatives will receive the Clinical Healthy Work Environment Award at a nursing conference in March.
