Piedmont Pitch applications for small business funding now being accepted
CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WVIR) - Charlottesville Office of Economic Development and Albemarle County Economic Development are teaming up to help small businesses grow.
Applications are now open for the Piedmont Pitch.
It’s a competition for small business owners.
It gives them the chance to get up to $15,000 in funding, as well as a 10-week program centered around growing that specific business.
“If you think about entrepreneurs and people that have small businesses, that’s where a lot these new ideas, a lot of these fresh innovative things, the things that make a place like Charlottesville very unique and stand out amongst other locations,” Charlottesville Office of Economic Development’s Matt Johnson said.
Applications can be submitted online and are due by February 1 at 11:00 p.m.
